Dwylo'r Enfys nominated for a worldwide Rockie Award
S4C's Makaton children's programme Dwylo'r Enfys has been nominated for a prestigious Rockie Award at the 2013 Banff World Media Festival.Dwylo'r Enfys (Rainbow Hands), which is produced by Ceidiog, has been nominated in the Children Programmes (2+) Non-fiction category.
The Autism Show
Come and see us at The Autism Show. It's on 14th and 15th June at the Excel Centre,  London. We will be on Stand A15.The Autism Show is a national event for autism, dedicated to the two million people in the UK who live and work with autism on a daily basis.

CBeebies launches new website
To mark the occasion of the 100th episode of Something Special, CBeebies has created a fantastic new website, embracing the same inclusive approach as the Something Special TV programme.
Apple event
In November we were very excited to work with Business Team of the Apple Store, Milton Keynes, in organising an event to showcase how people are using iPads with children and adults with communication needs. Guests included Makaton Tutors, local schools and communication specialists.
Something Special wins two BAFTAs
The Something Special team has scooped two awards at the 2010 British Academy of Film and Television Awards (BAFTA).The Producer Allan Johnston and Directors Helen O'Connell and Anna Perowne were winners in the Pre-School Live Action category for Something Special.
