

Our vision is a world in which all people with learning or communication difficulties are able to communicate, participate and achieve their potential.
The Makaton Charity manages, monitors, and evaluates what we do and decides what we do next against four strategic objectives:
All of our activities support our strategic objectives. Every year we review our objectives and activities to ensure that they best meet the needs of people living with learning or communication difficulties.

The Hand was designed by children, young people and their carers who use Makaton, working with local sculptor and blacksmith, Roger Lee.
