Family advisory service

This confidential service is provided free of charge, to support families who use or are thinking about using Makaton. You can access advice related to Makaton training and resources, ideas for using Makaton in daily life and learning or just to talk to someone who understands.

Tracy King

The Makaton Charity's Family Advisory Service is lead by Tracy King, who has considerable experience of using Makaton in the home, as a parent who used Makaton with her own children. As a Makaton Regional Tutor, Tracy has extensive experience in supporting Makaton users of all ages, with a wide range of abilities in their use of Makaton, promoting good communication, language acquisition and independence.
