This workshop is designed to support anyone who cares for or works with children and adults with learning and communication difficulties.  

Participants must complete Levels 1 and 2 or equivalent prior to attending this workshop. 

The workshop is about safeguarding all people with additional communication needs, focusing on topics such as health, wellbeing, hygiene and relationships. The workshop looks at Makaton Users in a person-centred way, to develop their communication skills, make choices, understand what is happening and to meet their needs as effectively as possible.

You’ll receive a Participant’s Manual including the 300 signs and symbols you will learn, and a certificate of attendance.

You need a stable internet connection and a laptop, tablet or PC with mic and camera to access the training (smart phones aren’t suitable).
