MakaChat coffee morning

Do you know anyone else who uses Makaton? Or would simply like to speak with someone else who does?

Well, we know that sometimes Makaton can be an isolating place, especially if you don't have other people to practise your skills with.

We will be hosting an informal MakaChat coffee morning, where you can come along with a drink and we will pair you up with another attendee* to talk Makaton. See where your conversation takes you, you may want to practise your conversation skills using Makaton, ask for advice or guidance, or simply share your Makaton story to know you are not alone.

*We will pair you with another person attending this event and have four rotations of people to chat to over the hour session. All members are invited, therefore will all vary in skillset, journey, and knowledge.

This will be hosted as a Zoom meeting, so you will be on camera upon entry. This session isn't being recorded.
