Makaton Moments

Have you had a chance to look at our new Makaton Insights? Each day we have a new theme to refine and test your Makaton skills.

As part of our Makaton Insights, we are sharing Makaton Moments from our community, which showcase how Makaton is being used to support people in all sorts of wonderful ways.

We are giving you the opportunity to feature your Makaton story and share your experiences. To celebrate your Makaton Moments we will share these with the wider community through our Makaton Insights, social media, and our Makaton Magazine. We want to share the moments from our community, with our community.

These may be moments at home, at school, work, or out and about visiting places like Makaton Friendly organisations. It could be for example a video clip of someone signing or a short song verse. Maybe a picture or using symbols. Sharing your stories will help and encourage other people on their Makaton journey.
